Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 25: Veteran Malayalam film actor Thilakan, who received the 'Padmasree' award, today said he was extremely happy to receive the honour.
Thilakan said that he had not expected such an honour, but was happy to get one of the nation's biggest awards. Top-notch singer of yesteryears K P Udayabhanu, most of whose songs were noted for their emotional rendering of lyrics, is among the Keralities chosen for the honour this year.
