Oscars has its share of funny moments with teary acceptances!

Los Angeles, Feb 24: The balls are over, the trophies have been taken home but some moments from the 81st Oscar will be remembered for the comic relief they provided amongst the teary acceptances and political speeches.

"Slumdog Millionaire" director Danny Boyle skipped the emotional part, choosing instead to hop on stage while receiving his first Oscar. The 53-year-old director explained his funny action by saying that he had once promised his kids that if he ever won the award he will recede into the spirit of the comic character 'Tigger' from "Winnie the Pooh".
