Shah Rukh Khan starrer “My Name Is Khan” (MNIK) has become the highest Bollywood earner in the Middle East with $3.3. million in collections.
“In other Islamic markets too, it continues to grow and has crossed over to non-diaspora audiences. In Indonesia, for example, the film has grown from six to 14 screens and has seen a jump of 300 percent in week three,” Vijay Singh, CEO of Fox Star Studios India, said in a statement. So far, “MNIK” worldwide earning is about Rs.174.6 crore ($37.5 million) with India contributing Rs.102.2 crore and international markets recording around Rs.72.4 crore.
