Boyle using Indian effect for grabbing Oscar: Mahesh Bhatt!

Mumbai, Jan 27: Veteran Bollywood filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt has dampened the euphoria after the success of ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ with his vitriolic take on Danny Boyle and the hype and hubbub around this dark-fairy-tale of a movie. He claimed that ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ isn't Anil Kapoor and AR Rahman's best performance, as they have done better in their other works.

Stressing the fact that Slumdog is not an Indian product, Bhatt said the clamor will not help the country a jot. “Slumdog Millionaire is not an Indian film and will not help the country” he further added. Mahesh Bhatt: Jealousy will not get you anywhere. What you have done except producing some bunch of 3rd rate films.
