Shah Rukh Khan's detention and questioning at Newark Airport in US for almost two hours has outraged Bollywood.

The film fraternity is extremely displeased with the US immigration authorities for treating him not as a celebrity but a terrorist. Actress Priyanka Chopra wrote in a Twitter post, "It's shocking, disturbing and downright disgraceful. Such behavior fuels hatred and racism." She further expressed surprise over the incident saying that Shah Rukh Khan is a "world figure." Shah Rukh's close friend and director Farah Khan was also dismayed at the treatment meted out to the superstar.
