Big B holds special screening of Paa in Chennai - Daily News & Analysis

Directed by R. Balki, the film relates the story of a thirteen-year-old boy played by Amitabh Bachchan now in his mid-sixties, who suffers from a rare genetic disorder progeria that causes a person to age faster than normal.

Interacting with media persons, Amitabh said that he was fortunate to have worked with Balki, the director of the film. "He always wanted to try new things and wanted to bring some kind of freshness to filmmaking. This is something that I compliment and admire; I am deeply grateful to R Balki to choose me to make this film. We as producers have been fortunate in associating ourselves with this wonderful human being," Bachchan said.
