Ferrari Wins in Malaysia!!!

|
After a forgettable start of the season in Australia, Ferrari bounced back to win the Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix convincingly. The coolest Kimi Raikkonen took the chequered flag leading Robert Kubica by nearly 20 seconds. It was a dominating performance by the iceman in one of the hottest race of the calendar. Ferrari was looking good for a 1-2 finish until Massa spun out of the race.

Robert Kubica took the number 2 spot on the podium deservedly followed by Heikki Kovalainen in 3rd place. Jarno Trulli finished 4th which is good news for Toyota, the future looks promising for them. Lewis finished 5th due to a lengthy first pit stop. It was a bad week for the McLaren's with the penalty in qualifying and the problem with Lewis's pit stop. Nick Heidfeld finished 6th ahead of Mark Webber 7th. The last point scoring position was grabbed by 2 time champion Fernando Alonso. Renault will need to improve in leaps and bounds to do any justice to Alonso's talent.

David Coulthard finished 9th and Jenson Button 10th. Nelsinho Piquet finished 11th ahead of Giancarlo Fisichella 12th. Fisichella seems more comfortable with Force India than he seemed at Renault and its just a matter of time before Force India scores their first point. Rubens Barrichello's pit lane woes continued for the second consecutive race where he finished 13th. The brazillian was complaining about the markings in the pit lane after the drive through penalty for speeding in the pitlane. Nico Rosberg finished 14th ahead of Anthony Davidson 15th and Takuma Sato 16th. Kazuki Nakajima finished 17th and last.

DNF's - Sebastian Vettel, Felipe Massa, Adrian Sutil, Timo Glock and Sebastein Bourdais.
