A Bollywood movie production company has for the first time picked Korea as the setting for one of India's all-singing, all-dancing extravaganzas. The Seoul Film Commission announced Friday the film titled "Gangster" will start shooting in Seoul on Saturday.

The film, produced by leading Indian producer Visheshi, will be directed by Mahesh Bhatt, a veteran of some 50 films. Seoul will provide the main backdrop to -- what else - a love story. "Seoul was chosen as the shooting location because it is a place where big-city life and traditional culture coexist," the producers said. "There is much for us to learn in Korea, a country with a frightfully big influence the world over." The Indian movie follows the Hong Kong production "Seoul Raiders" shot here last year with help from the commission. The producers have scouted out many areas in the heart of the city including Tehran Street, Yeouido, the Cheonggye Stream, Jeong-dong, Namsan and Seoul City Hall and Square. Some of the crew already arrived in Seoul last Sunday with another 30 or so including the director and stars arriving on Friday. The first shoot will take place during a fireworks festival in the Han River Park in Yeouido on Saturday. Cast and crew are expected to draw swarms of reporters from the world's second most populous country to Seoul.

The team owners of the India Premier League (IPL) have so far stood together on the issue of not bidding for any Pakistani players in the third edition of the event. They had come out in the media denying any foul play. But now a prominent voice among them has stood up and voiced his opposition to the issue. It is none other than the Baadshah of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan who owns the Kolkata Knight Riders.

It may be recalled that Shahrukh Khan who had taken active part in the bidding of the players in the first season had shown keen interest in Pakistani players. He had roped in Umar Gul and maverick Pakistani pacer Shoaib Akhtar in the first season. Shahrukh's statement is bound to add to the controversy especially after fellow Bollywood celebrities Preity Zinta and Shilpa Shetty having gone out in full support of the fairness of the bidding process. I think Mr Shah Rukh Khan has lost his mind. after that 26/11 carnage at mumbai some people like him still want the pakistanis to be welcome in india. this is ridiculous men. come on men how many times do we indians need to give them the chances. its time that india take a strong stance against those culprits and dont forget that pakistan is the mother of all terrorism. those many which Mr.SRK would have give to his pakistani players would have used against india only as the pakistanis always use all of their resources for insurgency in india and try to infiltrate as many terrorist as possible to india to kill innocent people. its such a shame that an icon like him talks so cheap things. to welcome the people that country which time and again has back stabbed the indians. NOW ITS TIME THAT INDIA SHOULD RETALIATE STRONGLY AND STOP ALL BILATERAL TIES WITH THE TERRORIST COUNTRY ONCE AND FOR ALL IF ANY.

A popular perception of Bollywood films in the West is that they’re musicals. This notion is only partly correct. Many are left disappointed to learn that the stars of these films can’t sing. They lip-sync. Fine vocalists behind those songs rarely get their due. Few know music composers by face. Dance steps that movie-stars perform to aren’t the toughest to imitate either. The leading man of our cinema is often not even the best actor of his own film crew. He is just the better looking.

Who said that marriage means you can't look hot anymore? Apparently Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Post-marriage to Abhishek Bachchan, we have consistently seen her take her appearance downhill. Of course she's still beautiful, but she looks like she's given up on taking care of her body. After all, it was only three years ago that she stunned us with her figure in Dhoom 2 . We're not asking for a size zero or anything, but we'd like to see Ash looking as sexy as she used to look, not covered up by oversized salwar's and old lady-style sarees. Okay, we know you guys are in love and that you spend all your spare time dancing around trees with each other - no need to let us know in every interview that you two do! Lovebirds Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, whose steady relationship has been the source of many headlines this past year, talk more about each other than their films. Naturally, we don't mind once in a while (after all, this is Bollywood... we like some gossip!), but eventually it stops being cute and gets annoying. So hopefully in the New Year Bebo and Saif can tone it down just a little.
